EPIFANÍAS. RECITAL POÉTICO-MUSICAL documents an exceptional collaboration: the words of poet Yolanda Pantin and the musical compositions of composer, pianist, and writer Andrés Levell. Held in Caracas in 2025, featuring the Aequalis Aurea choir and a sculptural installation by Javier Level, the book now presents, in the form of a stage script, Andrés Levell’s highly personal notes and the selection of poems he himself chose from three of Pantin’s books: Lo que hace el tiempo, El dragón protegido and Bellas ficciones. This edition—featuring the original sheet music and photographs of the event—seeks to preserve the memory of a work in which sound and time continue to reveal what is essential.
As Verónica Jaffé notes when recalling the experience, in that dialogue the piano seems to take on—to quote Pantin’s verses—the «canto de otra lengua», the «voz sin palabras», the «melodía sin letra» of poetry, knowing that «solo la luz es dato cierto», even if it is “subjective”.
